Your Responsibilities:
- Receiving and Unloading Deliveries: Receive and unload incoming shipments to ensure precise proof of delivery details.
- Delivery Inspection: Inspect deliveries to verify that the items and quantities received match the specifications.
- Efficient Data Entry: Enter delivery information accurately and promptly into the inventory management system based on purchase orders.
- Proper Stock Handling: Ensure that all received stock is appropriately labeled and stored in the correct locations.
- Accurate Product Picking: Precisely select products and report any discrepancies.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks to confirm the accuracy of products and quantities.
- Packaging: Make sure all orders are well-packaged for transportation.
- Equipment Operation: Operate mechanical equipment in compliance with established regulations and policies.
- Compliance with Storage and Handling Rules: Adhere to regulations concerning the storage and handling of products.
- Document Management: Maintain a comprehensive filing system to guarantee easy access to all records.
Essential Requirements:
- Willingness to adapt working hours as needed to align with business requirements.
- Proficient verbal communication skills to effectively interact with all stakeholders.
- Demonstrated history of consistent attendance and reliability.
- The capability to count accurately.
- Ability to work in a warehouse setting, which may involve varying temperatures due to weather changes.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, stooping, and carrying products for eight or more hours in combination.
- Able to frequently lift and carry loads of up to 15kg (34-67% of the workday) and occasionally handle loads of up to 25kg (0-33% of the workday).
Temporary Contract Position:
CDW offers a temporary contract role, which means that a staffing partner, rather than CDW, will employ the individual selected for this position.
Interview Process:
The CDW assignment manager will conduct all interviews for this position.
Finalist Selection:
Once the assignment manager selects the finalist, the staffing partner will provide the finalist with assignment details. This information will cover the contract duration, available benefits options, and the onboarding process.
