What You Should Bring:

While prior experience in the food industry is beneficial, it’s not a strict requirement if you possess a hands-on attitude and are willing to take on various tasks and challenges as they arise. Your Daily Responsibilities as a Kitchen Production Assistant:
- You’ll be under the guidance of a Food Manager or Team Leader, working alongside them in the kitchen to create a food experience that’s safe, healthy, delicious, sustainable, affordable, and enjoyable for both customers and co-workers.
- Your day-to-day tasks will involve preparing and serving customers from breakfast to dinner. You’ll be responsible for producing substantial quantities of high-quality food for our diverse customer base.

- The kitchen is a safety-focused, fast-paced environment that mandates attention to detail for safety in all aspects and efficient multitasking to ensure IKEA remains a secure and enjoyable place for people to shop, work, and have fun.
- You’ll also be stationed in the dish area, contributing to maintaining a continuous supply of clean dishes, cutlery, pots, and pans for our customers and food handlers.
