Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Worker 5 at the Whistler Health Centre in Whistler, BC with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)! We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to become part of our Plant Maintenance team. Your Responsibilities will Include:

  • Undertaking trade-related tasks, approaching journeyman-level proficiency, across multiple areas such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and welding.
  • Conducting maintenance and repair duties pertaining to buildings and equipment, including mechanical and electrical repairs to equipment and systems.
  • Active participation in both the Rapid Response Team and the broader Maintenance team.
  • Collaborating with fellow team members to ensure timely and comprehensive service delivery to our clients.
  • Fulfilling diverse roles in supporting general maintenance activities.
  • Advocating for customer service excellence and expediting the resolution of customer concerns.

Please note that this role may involve assignments at different locations and providing support to trades personnel when required.

Requirements/Qualifications

Education & Experience

A minimum of a Grade 10 education, coupled with four (4) years of recent, relevant experience, or an equivalent blend of education, training, and experience. Possession of a valid BC Driver’s license is mandatory, unless otherwise specified in the job posting.
