Our Offerings:
- An hourly rate of £10.90.
- Recognized as a Living Wage Foundation Employer.
- A 39-hour workweek, spanning 5 days out of 7.
- Alternatively, a 16-hour workweek, covering 2 days out of 7.
- Operational hours are from 7 pm to 4 am, encompassing the night shift. A nightshift rate of £2.25 applies between 11 pm and 6 am.
- Expect approximately 8-hour daily shifts.
- Flexibility regarding availability will be a topic of discussion during interviews.

Your Daily Responsibilities

As a Food Co-worker, your role involves reporting to one of the Food Managers or Team Leaders. Your objective is to create a secure, healthy, delectable, sustainable, cost-effective, and delightful dining experience for both customers and co-workers.
The kitchen is a safety-focused, high-paced setting that demands meticulous attention to safety and effective multitasking. This is crucial to maintain IKEA as a secure destination for shopping, working, and enjoying oneself.
Your duties include preparing and serving meals for the night shift team and getting ready for the following day’s operations. This encompasses both the customer restaurant and the co-worker restaurant.
You will also be responsible for adhering to a cleaning schedule, ensuring that the kitchen’s cleanliness is consistently maintained at a high standard.
