Key Responsibilities
- Support the event operations manager and expo manager in the planning and execution of inventory strategies.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accountability both in the warehouse and during events.
- Ensure that contractors and hourly employees in the warehouse meet their schedules, tasks, and objectives.
- Participate in the packing and shipping of packages and equipment, whether for events or merchandise fulfillment.
- Take on responsibilities when the event operations manager or expo manager is absent.
- Receive shipments, stock inventory, accurately pick items for shipment, and pack and ship in compliance with company safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Organize and pack boxes effectively in preparation for shipping.
- Safely load and unload trucks and store items correctly in the warehouse.
- Operate power equipment as required while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Unload, break down, and store inbound shipments.
- Fulfill various warehouse duties as necessary.
Required Skills
- Completion of at least high school or possession of a GED.
- Proficient in verbal communication, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Demonstrates strong leadership qualities and takes initiative.
- Physically capable of lifting 40 pounds without assistance.
- Willingness to travel when necessary, typically for 2-3 events annually.
- Skillful in delegating and mediating.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service orientation.
- Quick decision-making and effective problem-solving skills.
- Displays a deep passion and enthusiasm for the event industry.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic.
- Holds the legal right to work in the United States.
