Main Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage work activities and prioritize product production to meet various targets such as cost, productivity, quality, and safety.
- Perform a variety of manual tasks and ensure all tasks are completed within specified timeframes.
- Verify products and materials against the required quality standards to ensure they align with specifications.
- Supply the necessary product to fulfill slicing requirements, transferring it from the holding chiller to the slicing lines.
- Maintain records of bacon temperature and weight, taking action if the product is too soft by re-freezing it.
- Ensure that new product offerings meet customer requirements.
- Take responsibility for traceability within the Arolink process, including yield tracking.
- Handle administrative tasks and documentation generated from stock movements.
- Operate in accordance with the Company’s Health & Safety standards, ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene requirements at all times.
- Report equipment faults promptly to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate to identify and implement improvements, suggesting better ways of performing tasks.
- Work as a team member and operate more advanced machinery and equipment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 6 to 12 months of experience in operations or similar roles.
- Strong communication skills.
- Capability to work independently.
- Proficiency in practical and manual handling skills.
- Basic awareness of Health and Safety (H&S).
- Basic knowledge of Food Safety.
- Willingness and capacity to acquire necessary skills through training.
