Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize safety by consistently following all safety procedures, correctly utilizing protective equipment, and maintaining a secure work environment.
- Perform quality checks to ensure adherence to product specifications.
- Engage in various tasks such as unpacking, packing, loading, unloading (including boxes, finished goods, and raw materials), and monitoring production lines.
- Provide ‘machine watching’ cover for Machine Operators.
- Undertake general tasks, including waste processing, order packing, etc.
- Adhere to relevant standards and meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Attend and contribute occasionally to daily review meetings, and regularly participate in online performance reviews.
- Embrace flexible working patterns to accommodate varying operational needs.
- Maintain general facility hygiene by addressing cleanliness on floors, walls, conveyors, etc., and adhere to the principle of ‘clean as you go.’
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Energetic and industrious with a strong desire for continuous learning.
- Previous applicable experience in a food manufacturing setting.
- Dedicated to upholding high standards of food quality and safety.
- At ease working with raw materials like beef, pork, chicken, turkey, and lamb.
- Adaptable, practical, resilient, and possesses humility.
- Proficient in spoken English.
- Genuine fondness for cats (instinctive).
