Primary Duties:
- Proofreading, conducting quality checks, and reviewing the formatting of documents, predominantly complex environmental services reports, frequently with a technical focus.
- Familiarizing oneself with internal and client-specific style guides, and revising and enhancing them as needed.
- Copy editing to maintain the coherence of content created by technical personnel and enhance its uniformity and clarity.
Candidate Specification:
- Possesses a degree, preferably in a technical or scientific field.
- Has over three years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating a solid understanding of the role’s requirements is advantageous.
- Can dedicate an average of 15 hours per week, although workloads may fluctuate during individual weeks.
- Exhibits a high level of proficiency in written English, particularly in spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Is a proficient user of all Microsoft packages (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Exhibits attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Possesses excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a significant volume of information/documents.
- Has the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Can work collaboratively and effectively with a diverse range of individuals at various levels of the organization, both within and outside the immediate team.
