We are presently in the process of hiring a Production Operative for our team situated at Randalstown Mill.
The working hours are as follows:
- 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
- 11:00 am to 7:00 pm
Occasional weekend work may be necessary, typically every other weekend, including the possibility of night shifts.
The role is conducted in a warm mill setting and encompasses physically demanding tasks within confined spaces. Effective teamwork is essential for successful performance in this position.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting blending and pressing operations.
- Filling micro bins.
- Weighing lorries.
- Operating carousels.
- Performing yard-related tasks.
- Cleaning confined space bins/silos.
- Upholding elevated hygiene standards across the Mill and premises.
- Carrying out equipment maintenance.
- Maintaining and ensuring hygiene in grinders/roller mills.
- Filter replacement.
- Proficient operation of forklifts, pallet trucks, stackers, industrial scrubbers, scissor lifts, and cherry pickers.
- Undertaking any additional tasks as directed by Management.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a production environment.
- Competence in confined space work.
- Proficiency in operating a computerized production control system.
- Literacy and numeracy skills are a must.
- Clear thinking ability.
- Team-oriented with effective teamwork skills.
