Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with young children, a strong commitment to their development, and a desire to create a positive and engaging learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum for children.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Observe and assess children’s progress and communicate with parents about their child’s development.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to maintain a cohesive and supportive team.
- Ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
Qualifications:
- Early Childhood Educator Certification (ECE) or equivalent.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Clear criminal record check.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
Work Schedule: 40 hours weekly, from Monday through Friday
Hourly Compensation: $26.25 per hour, inclusive of cost-shared benefits, vacation accrual, and sick leave (includes the Early Childhood Educator Wage Enhancement)
