Key Responsibility
As a Hydrate Operator, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the Tunstead Hydrate Lime Plant.
- Loading vehicles both manually and remotely.
- Operating the plant with a strong emphasis on safety, environmental compliance, and efficiency to meet production output goals.
- Having a clear understanding of quality standards and ensuring that the product meets customer specifications.
Qualifications and Experience:
- They should have a track record of maintaining and enhancing health, safety, and environmental standards. It is expected that they either currently hold or are actively pursuing an IOSH Working Safely certification or a higher equivalent.
- They should ideally have prior experience in chemical manufacturing and distribution processes, particularly in an operational role within the process industry.
- Proficiency in operating plant equipment in compliance with standard operating procedures is a crucial skill.
- The candidate should also be capable of independently performing maintenance tasks, which include cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating equipment.
- Knowledge of lime processing or relevant industry-specific knowledge would be advantageous.
