You will also assume a pivotal role in upholding our legal responsibilities and adhering to our company’s established standards. Your efforts will contribute to maintaining a smooth and efficient service while maximizing profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of your work area to establish a professional, secure, and hygienic work environment. This includes ensuring a seamless workflow within the warehouse and assessing the quality and appearance of the final product before dispatch to customers.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of and safe utilization of prep room tablets and systems.
- Strictly adhere to food safety regulations to maintain the highest standards of product safety and quality.
- Implement daily stock rotation for all produce to maintain freshness.
- When workloads permit, provide assistance to your fellow colleagues.
- Establish and maintain clear lines of communication with prep room management and your colleagues.
- Promptly report any equipment faults or damage following company protocols.
- Familiarize yourself with both company and statutory Health & Safety, Security, and Emergency Procedures.
- Uphold operational standards at the highest level, encompassing service quality, cleanliness standards, and waste reduction.
Your Requirements:
- As a part of the team, reliability and strong teamwork skills are vital.
- Effective communication and an enthusiastic, can-do approach are essential.
- The ability to work under tight deadlines with acute attention to detail is necessary.
- Full training and suitable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be furnished.
- This position is conveniently accessible from Nelson, Colne, Barnoldswick, Earby, Burnley, and Accrington, with easy access to the M65.
