Key Responsibilities:
- Works under direct supervision to support the Service Specialist in the installation of well completion products.
- Assists in the preparation of pre-job products and service equipment, including assembly, testing, and mobilization. As well as the installation of products at the well site.
- Supports post-job mobilization, cleanup, and repair of service equipment and products.
- Ensures the completion of all well site and post-job paperwork.
- Demonstrates understanding of external activities at the well site by third parties that could affect the installation process of completion products.
- Demonstrates proficiency in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) activities. Including site assessments, risk analyses, onsite safety meetings, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and documentation.
- Due to the nature of oil field service work, all employees must be capable of following written and verbal instructions. As well as effectively communicating with peers and superiors to enhance job success.
- Every team member must be proficient in collaborative teamwork.
Educational and Skill Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations is necessary.
- Essential reading and writing skills are required.
- Basic computer skills are essential.
- This role is considered a developmental position, with the expectation that all Service Operators will progress to the Service Specialist position.
- Gains proficiency in all additional skills needed to independently deliver the least complex completion products and services at customer well sites without direct supervision.
- Acquires and demonstrates a functional understanding of local completions HMS processes.
- Acquires and demonstrates the capability to conduct a pre-job review of the job design. Comprehending the overall job scope, desired outcome, and the processes and tools required for success.
