Responsibilities:
- Adhere to good manufacturing practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the production facility.
- Measure and document equipment settings.
- Implement all aspects of Operator Asset Care (O.A.C.) in the work area.
- Complete cleaning and inspection line checklists.
- Maintain sanitation standards for the work area, which includes tasks like scraping scales, sweeping the floor, and disposing of damaged product bags.
- Operate equipment with precision to ensure high-quality product output, promptly reporting any equipment issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate and timely records.
- Check, document, and input information into the computer.
- Perform clean-up and shut-down duties, which involve deep cleaning on specific lines, sweeping, air hosing, the use of chemicals, and high-pressure hosing.
- Execute other tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Engage in activities such as pushing/pulling rolls of poly, handling high-pressure hoses, moving garbage containers, operating vacuums, and managing pallets and cases.
- Lift objects weighing approximately 25 – 44 lbs.
- Be prepared for stair/ladder climbing when necessary.
- Perform bending and crouching as required by the tasks.
- Stand for extended periods during work.
- Maintain continuous walking as part of the job.
