Objective Statement:
Material Handlers play a crucial role in executing various warehousing tasks that bolster manufacturing operations and customer-related functions. These responsibilities encompass, but are not restricted to, tasks such as receiving, preparing kits, conducting cycle counts, and managing shipments, among others.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates adaptability by responding to changes in the work environment, including modifications to work plans, priorities, and management decisions.
- Actively participates in improvement initiatives, contributing to a more organized work environment, exemplified by practices like 5S.
- Identifies opportunities to enhance work productivity and efficiency, seeking ways to optimize operations.
- Collaborates effectively within a team and across various functional teams when required, promoting teamwork and cooperation.
- Maintains composure and a level temperament even in high-stress work situations.
- Openly shares information, knowledge, and experiences with colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- A High School diploma or equivalent is the minimum educational requirement for this role.
- While less than one year of related experience is mandatory, having one year or more of relevant experience is preferred.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age or older to qualify for this position.
- In cases where an equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrates the ability to fulfill the key job responsibilities effectively, such instances will be considered.
Other Requirements:
- Proficiency in fundamental computer skills is a prerequisite for this role.
- Demonstrating strong attention to detail is a crucial attribute.
- The candidate should be self-motivated and able to interpret, receive directions, and effectively apply both written and oral communication.
- Flexibility is key, enabling quick adaptation to learning new tasks and relocating to different areas as customer demands change.
- The candidate should be open to working overtime, nights, various shifts, and weekends when necessary.
- Willingness to work in multiple areas as required is a must.
- Demonstrated competencies in teamwork, maintaining a professional demeanor, ensuring quality, job knowledge, effective communication, problem-solving, lean principles, flexibility, punctuality, and good attendance.
- Proficiency in using general office equipment and materials.
- Familiarity with Material Handling Equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks, and bar code scanners.
- Physical capability to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- The ability to lift, reach, push, and pull up to 45 pounds as required.
- Willingness to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as mandated for the assigned area.
