The role will involve reporting to the Operations Supervisor and will encompass various duties and responsibilities, with the potential for additional tasks beyond those initially outlined.
Job Duties:
- Possess an in-depth knowledge of all operational aspects. Accountable for training, monitoring, and collaborating with the Supervisor to uphold Standard Operating Procedures for all operational tasks.
- Craft daily schedules that adhere to state pharmacy regulations and align with production targets. Assess production outcomes, provide guidance to staff, and assist in resolving operational issues.
- Analyze extensive data when conducting research for pharmacy incident reports to identify the underlying causes.
- Oversee the management of operational tracking systems. Maintain and assess record-keeping tools that facilitate managerial decisions and support business operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Typically, a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience is required.
Additional Requirements:
- While not mandatory, 6 years of overall work experience is preferred.
- Post-secondary education in a related field is preferred but not obligatory.
- Ideally, 2 years of experience in a leadership role, particularly in a warehouse, supply chain, distribution center, or central fill facility.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with or exposure to pharmaceutical central fill production.
- Proficient English communication skills for conveying ideas, opportunities, and concerns both in written and verbal form.
- The capability to mentor, coach, train, and foster relationships to exert influence within teams.
- Effective listening and communication skills, suitable for leading various levels of team members and extended business units in both one-on-one and group settings.
- Competence in crafting complex production schedules.
- A preference for knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in real-time data analysis and the ability to make adjustments as necessary.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Demonstrates advanced logical problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Utilizes good judgment, common sense, and proactively addresses issues and makes decisions.
- Displays adaptability and flexibility.
- Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing competing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Requirements (for internal applicants only):
- Current McKesson associates must meet the performance standards for their current position.
- No more than a verbal warning for attendance should have been issued.
- No disciplinary actions beyond a verbal warning should have been received within the past six months.
- The associate must have been in their current position for at least six months.
