Key Responsibility:
Open Product Area:
- Comprehension of waste management procedures.
- Cheese stripping.
- Operating open product machinery (e.g., block cutting).
- Operating product-catching and tray-filling equipment.
- Operating bagging units.
- Utilizing both manual and automatic vacuum machines.
In addition, this role may involve covering machine operative responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Daily safe and efficient operation of (Ilpack and Sandicure) machinery to ensure high-quality product output.
- Identifying and addressing safety concerns and ensuring equipment and its surroundings remain safe.
- Ensuring accurate product, package, and code changes.
- Conducting CIP (Cleaning in Place) and mechanical surface cleaning for all areas as per specified cleaning schedules.
- Preparing machines and managing changeovers for manufacturing operations, following equipment setup/changeover instructions and adhering to work standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Setting up and replacing tooling on various equipment.
- Maintaining a high level of understanding of HACCP and Food Safety standards.
