Job Description

The Kentucky Department of Parks is in search of an experienced and enthusiastic Serving Attendant who is dedicated to delivering outstanding guest service. This position is for the Rowena Landing Restaurant at Lake Cumberland State Resort Park, situated on the stunning Lake Cumberland spanning over 60,000 acres.

Our resort park is renowned for its top-notch accommodations and dining, and our 200-seat restaurant offers breathtaking views of Lake Cumberland. In addition to your front-of-house responsibilities, you will collaborate closely with the back-of-house team to ensure exceptional guest service and catering for numerous groups, events, and banquets hosted at various locations within the Park throughout the year. Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our patrons.
  • Take orders and clean tables.
  • Ensure appropriate arrangement and maintenance of assigned workstations.
  • Report guest bills, process credit card payments, and perform daily cleaning tasks to the Hostess.
