Work Shifts:
H Shift: Friday to Sunday, from 6 am to 6 pm, with a rate of $20/hr plus a $2/hr weekend premium.
Shift I: Friday to Sunday, from 6 pm to 2:30 am, with a rate of $20/hr plus a $3/hr weekend premium.
Shift G: Monday to Thursday, from 4:30 pm to 3:00 am, with a rate of $20/hr plus a $2/hr night premium.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and select products using the Vocollect or WMS (SOGE) system based on operational requirements.
- Organize and palletize products for both receiving and dispatch purposes.
- Arrange and palletize orders and products efficiently.
- Utilize RF scanner to print, scan, and apply labels accurately.
- Input data into the inventory management system when necessary, employing an RF scanner.
- Operate handling equipment such as electric pallet trucks, counterbalance forklifts, clamp carts, control selector carts, or mobile manual pallet trucks safely.
- Adhere to security protocols consistently.
- Carry out any additional tasks and duties assigned by management.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- DES or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Less than one year of work experience.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in safely operating various handling equipment, including manual or electric pallet trucks, counterbalance forklifts, or grab carts.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality, precision, and safety.
- Basic computer skills are advantageous.
- Ability to adhere to procedures and meet deadlines.
- Capability to work upright for extended periods and handle pallets.
- Regularly lift loads ranging from 20 lbs (9 kg) to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally handle loads ranging from 51 lbs (23 kg) to 99 lbs (45 kg) for two.
Physical and Cognitive Demands:
- Proficiency in adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Capability to read, write, and interpret information effectively.
- Competence in basic mathematical operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to engage in activities such as sitting, walking, or standing for up to 10 hours per day.
- Intermittent capability to crawl, squat, climb, twist, bend, stoop, push, or pull.
- Possession of visual acuity, including close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Capacity to lift and carry items weighing less than 25 pounds.
