About this Position
This role involves working within a team of frontline Waste personnel responsible for refuse collection, recycling, and environmental cleaning services. Your duties will include collecting waste from residential properties across the borough and safely transporting it to appropriate disposal sites, including recyclable or compostable materials. Throughout your work, strict adherence to Health & Safety and Workplace Regulations is crucial. Some tasks may require heavy lifting or sustained physical activity, so a reasonable level of fitness is necessary.
Waste Services operates throughout 363 days of the year, and occasional unsocial hours may be required to ensure the continuous provision of public services.
