Description:

This presents an opportunity for a diligent, honest, adaptable, reliable, and self-motivated individual to join the successful Estates department at Abingdon & Witney College, specifically for the Witney Campus. Reporting to the Estates Supervisor, the chosen candidate will have the responsibility of ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and security of the site. They will also handle inquiries from staff, students, contractors, external customers, and the general public when necessary.

The scope of duties is likely to encompass tasks such as cleaning, unlocking and securing buildings, assisting with minor repairs and building maintenance, responding to Helpdesk calls, monitoring car park usage, and providing porterage services around the College premises. The candidate should possess a sound understanding of health and safety practices and offer efficient and effective support to the College and its users, including maintaining the security and appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas to the required standards.

A current driving license is essential, as occasional travel between sites may be required. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience in a building trade, commercial cleaning, and security for large sites.
